What are common enrolment mistakes?

When maximising their enrolments there are three common mistakes that schools make:

  1. Underestimating the value of enrolments
    • Each school enrolment is worth more to a school than what most school fundraising efforts contribute in any given year.
  2. Not knowing enough about their catchment area.
    • Most schools are uncertain of trends in local student numbers and demographics that will inevitably impact on their enrolments.
  3. Not addressing two of the three key factors in school selection.
    • Most schools focus on communicating their core competencies without adequately addressing the questions potential enrolments have in relation to the sense of belonging and financial considerations.
