Size of school is a key consideration for many parents but what is the real impact of school size on enrolment decisions?
Depending on their own education experience, parents will have an inbuilt preference for a particular school size. If they liked school they tend to have a preference for school’s that were of a similar size. Similarly if they did not like school they tend to look for a school that has a different profile to the one they went to.
What they all have in common is a preference for small class sizes and multiple classes in each year level. This provides them with an opportunity to both find friends as well as space to distance themselves from students they may not get along with.
